Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier. -Mother Teresa
My number one goal when meeting a client isn’t to take the best portrait possible, or to wow them with my capability. My first priority is making them feel sincerely valued. My interactions with my clients are never just business transactions—they are enduring relationships. The thing that delights me most in this business is when clients come back to me, trusting me to document the exciting moments in their lives. I love watching people and families grow and change through their seasons, giving them a glimpse of how wonderful they are from the outside. My priority is making them feel sincerely valued. I have found that this priority has made photography so much more than my livelihood. It is good for my soul.
These words are from my incredible clients, and my heart is filled with humble gratitude every time I read them.
Marsha shot my wedding this past August and the pictures were phenomenal. When I first met Marsha, she really took the time to get to know me. It was clear that she wanted to give me exactly what I wanted, which is really important in a photographer. Having my wedding on the top of Nob Hill in San Francisco, I really wanted the obligatory cable car shot, which wasn’t easy to get due to bad timing and RUDE cable car conductors! But she wouldn’t give up until she got me that shot because she knew how much it meant to me. Beyond the quality of her work, she really added to the whole magic of the day and it was so much fun getting to know her. I highly recommend her work!

How do I begin to express how impressed I was with The Photegé!!!! I will start from the beginning ——In November 2012 Marsha, myself, my husband (at the time he was my fiancé), and his son Nolan took a road trip to Santa Barbara for what we thought would be a day of looking at possible venues for our wedding (and maybe if there was time to stop and snap a few pictures) just because we were at the beach. Granted when we went, we had no idea that our whole engagement session would take place. After having a nice lunch and walking around, Marsha found a quaint alley way and hence the magic began!!!! She began to snap away at the three of us laughing, making silly faces, and simply smiling for the camera. We moved on to one of the venues we were going to check out, the Fess Parker Doubletree. While walking the grounds, I realized that Marsha was getting excited like a little girl in a candy shop. I asked her if she liked it and with big eyes and a huge smile she said “this is it D!!! This is where u we will finish your engagement pictures!!!” And the rest was history. After returning to Bakersfield, Marsha called to tell me the pictures were up on the website. I sat and opened the file. I was in awe of what was produced!!!! All I could think was how lucky I was to have hired a photographer that can capture such true and heartfelt photos. At that point, I began to become the same excited little girl thinking of what Marsha was gonna do for me and my husband on our special day!!!Marsha shot our wedding on June 7, 2013 in San Diego, CA. During our special day, we were impressed with the professionalism that Marsha displayed and oved that she took charge when I couldn’t. She knew what we wanted and did her absolute best to make sure those things got done!!!! We patiently wait for the final product!!! She has sent us ‘teasers’ and with every one of those we become more and more impressed with the talent that Marsha has!!!! Some people can say I am biased with the Photegé. Marsha has been a dear friend for a very long time (20+ years) and I love her as I would a family member. This woman has tremendous talent and has that eye to capture the true essence of a person and their heart! I will highly recommend her to any and all who consider hiring her for special occasion or to hire her to become a part of your family and allow her to capture those closest to you throughout your life. I look forward to having her capture my family in the future and I know that with her images hanging in my house, I will never forget the talent and love that is Marsha Walker-Zepeda, the Photegé…….

Oh my word! I could spend pages explaining just how amazing Marsha is! I have been blessed to have her by my side through births of babes and now family shoots! There is no one who can capture the spirit and sass of my girls like Marsha! She makes you feel comfortable and beautiful! Her artistry and eye for just the right shot shines through every click! She always has an encouraging word and her breath taking work speaks for itself! Thank you so much for capturing my memories and always shooting with your heart!

Marsha!!! You have been such a blessing for Elias and I. With Elias being away in the military it was hard for us to find time to get together and plan wedding details. You not only got up at 4 in the morning to drive up 1 hour to the grapevine and shoot a “summery” photo in the middle of January, but you were also so pleasant and understanding. Your photography is only one amazing aspect of The Photege. The other aspects include your passion, your creativity and your personality. I encourage everyone to take a look at the fun photoshoots she did for our engagement and wedding. Thank you so much Marsha!

Marsha lives up to her motto “shoots with her heart!” She captures the best moments during any photo session. We had the privilege to have her photograph our miracle baby for an entire year. Every session was more than what I hoped for. The pictures speak for themselves & if you allow her she will even blog about your story. Always professional & personable & makes you feel so special. My favorite is how well she captures the details. Thank you! Thank you!
