The Photege was born in 2008. And in a million different ways...
Growing up, I had big dreams. But honestly, photography really wasn't one of them. I knew I wanted to serve and help others somehow and started studying to become a nurse.
But life had other plans.
Instead, I became a young mom. And focused all of my love and energy on my kids.
While documenting every nanosecond of their little lives with my camera, I discovered the world of digital scrapbooking and graphic arts. And I began reading, researching, and learning the art of photography.
Little did I know that what I thought was a hobby would one day become the gateway to so much strength and freedom. As well as an opportunity to serve and help others in ways I never thought possible.
Through the love and support of friends and family and a lot of hard work and determination- I changed the course of my life.
