SO CUTE, RIGHT??

When I first received Greg & Ina’s inquiry for their wedding, I was sold the minute they told me they had 4 pups collectively called “The Muttley Crew”. I just knew I had to be their wedding photographer!

The love they have for each other is so warm and genuine and I instantly felt at home with them. Below you will find a few of our favorites from their Downtown Bakersfield and Hart Park engagement session.

How did you meet?

He said:

My brother and I decided last minute to go to the Condors game and I’m glad we did. Ina and her sister were at the game sitting next to our seats. After walking by a couple of times and consulting with my brother, I decided to go down and sit one seat closer to Ina to strike up a conversation about the pet bowls they were giving away that night.

She said:

Greg and his brother were sitting in the same row as my sister and me at a Condors hockey game. They were a few seats away – I DID notice that each time they came back to their seats after grabbing a beer or snack they were sitting closer and closer!downtown bakersfield engagement session downtown bakersfield engagement session downtown bakersfield engagement session downtown bakersfield engagement session downtown bakersfield engagement session downtown bakersfield engagement session downtown bakersfield engagement session, stop motiondowntown bakersfield engagement session downtown bakersfield engagement session

The proposal:

We had planned a romantic Sunday evening at home. Greg made dinner and I was waiting in the backyard, admiring our flowers, enjoying the breeze when he brought out the food. Went back for the “pepper” and when he came back said he has a question first. He was down on one knee and I’m pretty sure I started crying immediately. He had a big smile on his sun kissed face.

Meet The Muttley Crew:

After exploring downtown and having loads of fun capturing the sweet spark between Greg & Ina, it was time to change and bring in the rest of the crew… THE MUTTLEY CREW! I was so excited to finally get to meet the sweet pups that are loved so much.

I couldn’t resist a few romantic twirls in this glorious light first as the pups were getting ready to make their appearance.

The Muttley Crew was so happy to join their paw-rents for a few shots. Even though park activities and the multitude of squirrels were quite distracting, we were lucky and got some great captures of their smiling faces before they decided it was time to explore and run around! (It might or might not have been due to the treats we were holding but we’ll never tell.) 😉

Fun fact: Ina’s ring is a chocolate diamond! Who else is drooling over how gorgeous this ring is??

Unfortunately, Greg & Ina’s wedding plans were affected by the COVID-19 crisis forcing them to postpone their much anticipated wedding.  Their spring celebration will now be a summer celebration and we will be celebrating big!

Thank you, Greg & Ina for sharing your love story and allowing me to be your photo storyteller. I can’t wait until August!
