Becky + Kevin = MARRIED!! Atascadero, California

You’re getting married in a what? A BARN??!?

hehe… This was a reaction that quite a few people would have upon learning that this gorgeous couple had booked their day in a … well, barn.

However, set in the outskirts of Atascadero, the scenery was beautiful. Becky & Kevin, along with the help of their family and friends, created the most romantic, beautiful barn wedding I’ve ever seen.

Upon arriving, I couldn’t help but fall in love with all the little details that they so carefully thought out. The Carlton hotel was charming, old town with a modern twist.

Kevin was the epitome of calm answering his beautiful bride to be’s last minute questions of, “What about the ???” “Handled it. Got that. Taken care of…”, were his calm, loving responses. Kevin & Becky are perfect for each other. Completely and madly in love, I feel so blessed to know them and honored that I was able to capture this beautiful day for them.

Congratulation Becky & Kevin!! May you enjoy many, many beautiful years together as husband and wife!

Tina + Eli = MARRIED

When I first met Tina, I have to say that I was impressed! Here was this beautiful, vibrant young woman taking charge of wedding plans while her fiancee was stationed 1000 miles away in Washington. So mature, calm and fun all at the same time!

Fast forward to the engagement session…. as soon as I met Eli, I knew that we were all going to have fun! Eli and Tina were down to do whatever it took to get the shot! Getting up at 5am, braving the foggy drive, walking around in freezing cold temps (well, at least to us So.Cali people), smelling horse breath, dealing with creepers… you name it! SUCH a fun couple! And then… here comes the big day… Eli and Tina chose to do a first look. Such a special, intimate moment without the pressure of a crowd watching you. No pressure to “hurry up and get the pictures over with so everyone can eat”… We had a couple of hours to do a special portrait session without distractions. Although it was a hot day, they did FABULOUSLY well. :)

Congratulations, Eli & Tina!! Thank you for allowing us to capture your big day and share this moment with you… May you have a long, beautiful life with one another (and maybe a few kiddos)… hehe.

Alma + Raul = MARRIED!

When I was told that it was windy in Ridgecrest, California, I *thought* I was prepared. Boy, was I wrong! “Windy” is an understatement! hehe… more like… “find the nearest pole and hold on!” type of windy.

It was definitely a challenge but I think we pulled it off! It was such a pleasure capturing this love story… Congratulations Alma & Raul! May you be blessed with many, many happy years together!
