Bear with me while I talk to my photographer peeps for a sec…

This is what was on the end of my 70-200 f2.8 lens Saturday morning… The age old question “to filter or not to filter?” Welllll… I’m so glad that I chose to filter! lol! We were able to slowly pull this one off and luckily, not a single scratch was on the lens itself… *whewww*! But seriously, my heart and tummy did a small flip flop when I noticed the lens cap was all weird and stuck. My husband was able to coax it off and with one eye squinting and one eye closed, I surveyed the damage. I knew that the filter was there so I was praying that it was *just* the filter… especially since in just under an hour, I was supposed to meet with the beautiful bride of the day… thank you GOD that all was good! :)

Onto the good stuff… I wanted to post a super quick sneak peek at the gorgeous couple from the weekend… talk about fierce! :)

Boy, does she ever!

Sweet and sassy is the perfect description for this gorgeous senior… watch out world!  She’s coming at you with a vengeance… ;)

Miss M was perfectly photogenic and up for anything.  I am so blessed to have such wonderful clients!  lol!

As we walked around downtown toying with ideas and talking about life in general, I couldn’t help but think that this young woman was not going to have any problems taking on graduation and adulthood.  She’s definitely got a zest for life!

Mom and Miss M, it was an absolute pleasure working with you!  Thanks for enduring and indulging my crazy ideas!  Enjoy your sneak peek! :)

Summer vacation.

I can vividly remember the anxiousness felt that last month of school.  The anticipation of sleeping in, long and lazy days, hanging with friends…

*sigh*

Remember the bittersweet feeling of senior year?  Knowing that this was it.  The LAST summer vacation.  It was exciting, sad, exhilarating, nostalgic, joyful! All rolled up into one huge ball of emotional.. ness…   lol!

Working with high school seniors seriously bring that wave of nostalgia over me each and every time I have the pleasure of working with one.  I walk away wondering, “When in the world did time elude me?  And since when did I become the “goofy” adult that kids like to make fun of?”    lol… ;)

So… without further ado… meet Marc.  Facing his last summer vacation as a student… he is looking forward to this summer with friends.  Marc, I wish you the best of luck with your future… you can do anything you set your mind to do!  Sandra, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you and working with you two.  Enjoy your sneak peek! :)
