Beautiful girls…

March 5, 2009

Time flies when you’re having fun!

Remember these cuties?

It feels like just yesterday that we did their baby session… now they are turning ONE!

I haven’t gone through all the images yet but wanted to share at least one for their mommy… :)

Enjoy!  And look for more in the next few days!

PKS…

The Photographer’s Kid Syndrome…

Symptoms include: Severe boredom, silly faces, rolling eyes, tears, stamping feet, fit throwing, whining and many other negative emotions.

Diagnosis:  The child will run the opposite direction at first site of photographer parent’s camera…

Who’s at risk?  Any child with a photographer parent.

Prognosis:  Good, as long as the camera is put away and another photographer is enlisted to take portraits.

lol…

Most photographer’s children suffer from PKS… and most photographers will walk away from a photography session with their own children frustrated and defeated.  *speaking from experience… my own kids suffer from it…*

However, there is hope.  You see, these same children seem to be more apt to cooperate with a photographer as long as they are not mom or dad.

Take for instance K… her mom is one of the best photographer’s in town…  who also happens to be a great friend of mine…

We’ve shared the same frustration for a few years now so it didn’t come as a surprise when Michelle called me and told me she needed portraits of K but that K refused to cooperate with her… lol!

I was in dire need to get out so we arranged a spontaneous shoot…  The day couldn’t have been more beautiful!

Thanks K and Michelle!  I had fun! :)

Enjoy!
