Waking up to sunshine has been incredible these last few days! The weather has been so horribly gloomy lately that one begins wondering if there will ever be sun again! Thank God that spring is getting closer and closer… (I’m so spoiled with Cali weather that I don’t know what I would do in below 0 temps! eek! However, ask me again in June, July and August if I enjoy BAKERSFIELD weather! lol! ;P)

With the sun shining and moods soaring in excitement, I headed out for a shoot with a toddler who was sure to be a gem!  I had the extreme pleasure of spending time with little Miss K yesterday. She is definitely one to watch out for! With a mind all her own, she commands attention!  

I love capturing this age… eyes wide with wonder and curiosity, you can almost see the wheels in their brain turning furiously as they soak it all in. Their obliviousness to the going-ons around them as they explore their little world is delightful! 

Mom and dad were a little apprehensive with her demeanor and apologized for her behavior. Why? She was perfectly FINE! lol! One thing that I like to remind my clients of is that we are there to enjoy the process! No need to stress over “the perfect shot”. What I see in my head and my view of “the perfect shot” almost ALWAYS differs from onlookers. Trust me.

With that, I hope that mom and dad love these as much as I do! I look forward to working with you again! ENJOY!
