Fun in the sun…

However, don’t let that golden light deceive you… the wind was icy!

I had the pleasure of spending some time with my beautiful nieces over the weekend. It’s amazing how fast they grow! When I first met these girls, they were still in diapers and crawling… wow! Makes one feel a bit old… :P lol!

One of these gorgeous girls is getting ready to celebrate her sweet sixteen and one is preparing for graduation… I am so proud of them! We went out and celebrated with a photo shoot… I feel so incredibly blessed to be a part of their lives!

After the shoot, we headed back to my house to cook dinner… these girls are such a HUGE help! We had so much fun cooking together and goofing off! lol! Those enchilada’s sure were yummy! I was pleasantly surprised with their knowledge in the kitchen! I honestly did not start cooking until well after being married… I’m still learning to this day! lol!

Thanks for hanging out with me, girls! I had an absolute blast with you… we must do it again soon! Enjoy!











This was the sky… breathtaking! That is what has been called “God’s light” by my oldest…

You know the feeling…

You feel it when you see that gift coming your way.

You patiently wait with a small giddy grin, all the while screaming inside, “What IS it? What could it BE?”

You smile politely and graciously accept the gift as you try to contain your excitement. Then you slowly begin to unwrap it…

Oh, who am I kidding? You squeal and clap and rip through that paper, don’t you?

lol!

I was able to capture that excitement this weekend. This precious girl has been an only child for 6 years. Imagine her excitement as she anticipates the birth of her baby brother… I think the face says it all… :)

 

This mama is absolutely GORGEOUS! Her tummy was as perfect as perfect could be. When you hear of pregnancy making you glow, wow… her skin is positively radiant! No wrinkles, no stretch marks… just smooth, perfect skin… if only we could all be this lucky… *sigh*

An adorable set of siblings…

Wow… how lucky am I to get to capture such gorgeous kids?

I recently had the pleasure of meeting up with Sweet Princess *S* and her older brothers for a sibling session. Talk about perfectly coordinated! Don’t they look like they came straight from a magazine? Makes my job way too easy!

I couldn’t help but to marvel at the sweet demeanor of these precious children… they have such an amazing love for one another! They hugged, laughed, helped each other get around… wow! No fighting, no grumpies, nada. Just fun and relaxed and ready to cooperate!
